Chief Executive Officer – South Metro Junior Football League
Sarah Loh is the Chief Executive Officer for the South Metro Junior Football League which is the biggest Football League in the country with 11,000 players across 26 member clubs. Sarah is also the first female CEO to be appointed into an Australian Rules Football League.
Sarah has been in the role nearly two years and prior to this she has had an extensive sports management career from the Victorian YMCA, to six Local Councils to two State Sporting Organisations in Dragon Boat Victoria and Ice Hockey Victoria over 30 years.
Sarah holds a Master of Sport Business from Victoria University where she was also a lecturer in both undergraduate and within the Sports Business Masters Program specialising in Sports Marketing, Facility Management, Recreation Management and Environmental Sustainability.
In her private life, Sarah is also an AFL Multicultural Ambassador where she works directly with the St Kilda Football Club promoting and teaching the game to kids and adults. This year, Sarah will be pulling on her boots again to play in the inaugural AFLW Masters competition.
