Mark held the role as AFL’s General Manager Football Operations from 2013 until his appointment as Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive in February 2017.
The SUNS are playing a pivotal role in growing the game of AFL on the Gold Coast and will continue to have strong community engagement. The players and staff commit over 5,000 hours annually, focussing on the Club’s key pillars, Indigenous, Multicultural, Healthy Kids, Domestic Violence and Youth Homelessness. The consolidation and expansion of the SUNS looks to be promising after the club ran a successful campaign for an AFL Women’s license to enter the competition in 2020.
