Community Facilities Development Manager – Australian Football League
Ken has worked in the football industry since completing Business Studies (Accounting) in 1972. Since that time has worked in most parts of the AFL club scene leading to Geelong Football Club as CEO, then CEO of Football Victoria and supervised its transition to AFL (Victoria).
Now managing the AFL’s role in the development of community facilities, a key part of its Next Generation Policy, and works with the AFL Executive and AFL Community Division to deliver community facilities to meet the growth in participation.
The AFL game at community level is experiencing unprecedented grow especially with women registering to play the game all over Australia.
Challenge is how we can have facilities suitable and in the right locations to cater to the demand.
