Dr Elizabeth Bradshaw
Senior Lecturer – Deakin University

Elizabeth recently returned to Deakin University, this time as a Senior Lecturer specialising in Sports Biomechanics, in the Centre for Sport Research at the Burwood (Melbourne) campus. Previously she has also worked at the Australian Catholic University, New Zealand Academy of Sport (now known as High Performance Sport New Zealand), and in consultancy roles for the Australian Institute of Sport and Gymnastics Australia. She is an Associate Editor for the journal Sports Biomechanics, a Research Associate with the Sport Performance Research Institute New Zealand at Auckland University of Technology, a Fellow of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sport, and an Exercise and Sports Science level 2 Accredited Sport Scientist. Her research interests include the biomechanics and motor control of human performance, with special interests in pre-adolescent and adolescent athletes, and injury prevention. She just published a book chapter on monitoring gymnasts for injury prevention in The Science of Gymnastics Advanced Concepts (2nd Ed.).
