Andrew Blowers
NZ All Blacks Past Player and Current Melbourne Storm Player Development Officer

During his 15 years as a professional athlete Andrew played Rugby Union in England, Japan and New Zealand including 4 years with the All Blacks and played in the World Cup in 1999. With a passion for education and applying lessons from sport to life, learning and work, Andrew partnered with former All Black Michael Jones to establish the Rugby Academy with the Village Sports Academy in Auckland. The Rugby Academy assists students with low or nil qualifications to transition into employment or further vocational or tertiary training, and provides a focus on life skills, leadership and aspiration building.

With a proud Samoan heritage Andrew has consistently worked with Pasifika and diverse cultural groups to empower cultural engagement and build leadership skills. Andrew has qualifications include:
