Adam Luscombe,
General Manager – SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre / YMCA Victoria

Adam Luscombe has been the General Manager of the State Government owned, YMCA operated SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre since 2011.

Adam has early 19 years in leading, strategizing and operating Regional and State and sporting facilities.

His portfolio of Venues covers the length and breadth of Australia in both the profit and not for profit sectors. Working in either sector Adam believes a good culture and great negotiated outcomes lead to sporting assets fulfilling their maximum impact – community, high performance, major events, inclusion, economic benefit and stake holder success.

Adam holds a Masters of Business Administration (Law and Human Resources), a Bachelor of Education and he was the 1996 Australian Sports Commission High Performance Scholarship Coach for Swimming. He has also studied at the Harvard School of Business for Executives in Business Negotiation. He is the current chair of operations for Rescue 2018 (the World Life Saving Championships), an active volunteer in the Surf Life Saving movement and also a lecturer at the University of South Australia in Sport and Recreation.
