The National Community Sport Conference will explore Connecting Global Success and Medals Back to the Community to Inspire, Engage and Encourage Greater Participation: Exploring the AIS engagement program that connects elite athletes to local communities, together with Sunil Menon, Community Engagement Manager exploring the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 and what legacy a league global event will leave on the next generation of Australians.

The National Sports Surfaces Conference will explore different kinds of Sports Centres of Excellence from three perspectives. Kate Roffey, Director of Deals, Investment and Major Projects for Wyndham City Council will be sharing insights on the new Wyndham Stadium, while Dion Gosling will share information about New Zealand’s multi-sport facility at Nga Puna Wai. Paul Kamphuis, Polytan’s General Manager will share insights from the recent World Hockey’s Pro-league mobile stadium field in London. The field was installed on top of the natural Rugby field in their off season and removed within 5 days, allowing the Rugby to play again.

Tickets are selling fast as Co-Founder of the National Sports Convention Martin Sheppard explains:

“This year we have a limit of 1,000 delegates each day and the Thursday session we expect to be close to a sell-out with only a few more registrations available for Wednesday. I think that this year’s success has been achieved as we have every major industry collaborator involved in community sport influencing the direction and content of the NSC.”

Last chance to apply for the Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Awards – close COB Friday 5th July.
